Massage Therapy

Massage therapy has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and improve health. It is a
minimally invasive treatment where a trained practitioner provides pressure to manipulate the soft tissues and joints of the body to address pain, mental health, and overall wellness.

Massage therapy can be an effective treatment to help manage stress and pain. It has been shown to lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and assist in managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and anger. It is also effectively used alongside many medical options to manage pain resulting from chronic illness, aging, and general muscle pain.

Massage therapy treatments are holistic, usually enhanced with heat therapy, aromatherapy, and a calming space.

At Nest Integrative Wellness, our Registered Massage Therapist Mackenzie can treat any and all ailments from muscle pain, to stress/anxiety/depression, to sleep troubles. She also has a special interest in working with perinatal families and provides prenatal massage, postnatal massage (including cesarean/c-section scar massage), and infant massage. She also supports those who are trying to conceive.
