Lactation Basics

Breastfeeding/chestfeeding is a learned skill, so come get the best start to your lactation journey with this 3 hour in-person workshop! Prenatal lactation education will boost your confidence and give you the tools you need to reach your lactation goals!

Topics covered will include:

• Benefits of breastfeeding/chestfeeding
• How milk is produced
• Normal infant behavior
• When to feed your baby
• How to get a great latch
• Preventing common issues including low supply
• Self-care
• Partner support
• Pumping
• Bottle feeding

Taught by Nest’s lactation counsellor and Registered Nurse Katie, this in-person workshop will take place at Nest Integrative Wellness on November 15, 2023 at 6:00-9:00pm. The fee is $105/couple.
