Breastfeeding/chestfeeding is a learned skill, so come get the best start to your lactation journey with this 3 hour in-person workshop! Prenatal lactation education will boost your confidence and give you the tools you need to reach your lactation goals!
Topics covered will include:
- Benefits of breastfeeding/chestfeeding
- How milk is produced
- Normal infant behavior
- When to feed your baby
- How to get a great latch
- Preventing common issues including low supply
- Self-care
- Partner support
- Pumping
- Bottle feeding
Taught by Nest’s lactation counsellor and Registered Nurse Katie, this in-person workshop will take place at Nest Integrative Wellness on November 15, 2023 at 6:00-9:00pm. The fee is $105/couple.
